“Public Speaking 101” is an education project that
aims to train young people from Moldova in public speaking. The project will be
divided in two main parts teaching you impromptu (improvizat) public speaking
and visual aspects of a power point presentation. Along with that, you will
learn more about the principles of effective argumentation, persuasion, and ethics of public speaking, organization and
delivery of your speech. Trainings will cover public speaking techniques taught
at the University of Washington and will be held in English.
This
project is a great opportunity for young ambitious people who plan to study
abroad or work for an international company in Moldova and need to learn how to
speak in public in English, but also for those who feel passionate about public
speaking and want to enhance their rhetorical skills. On successful completion
of the trainings you will receive a certificate of participation.
The project is
